BRAND

Bavarian Crono ("crono" means "watch" in German) is a most unusual brand. The company focuses almost exclusively on producing wristwatches with dials that are based on detailed and precise miniature versions of the speedometers from classic and vintage cars, including Bugatti, Mercedes, Jaguar, and Volkswagen (particularly the various incarnations of the famous and well-loved Beetle). These beautiful and rare automobiles from yesteryear inspire passion among vintage car enthusiasts, and the same passion can be seen to be expressed in Bavarian Crono watches, with their utterly faithful capturing of the smallest details of actual speedometers.

Even though Bavarian Crono is a small and family-owned manufacturer which produces only a few hundred watches each year, no other manufacturer is producing speedometer watches of this kind, so these rare watches are true collector's items, much appreciated by owners of the corresponding classic cars. Incorporating a Swiss movement and traditional German precision engineering, these watches are extremely good value at these prices.
