These days, there's no denying that certain German watch brands have become widely respected in the watch industry as meeting the highest industry standards and consumer expectations.

Yet many of these wristwatches never make their way outside Europe. In the first place, they are produced by small traditional workshops in extremely limited quantities. And these typically family-run operations have little interest in exporting their watches.
